I was not fast enough to catch you after church today to tell you how much I have enjoyed your book. You have told your story in such a beautiful way and one that will help others understand much of their lives as well. Thanks for writing it and thanks for sharing it with so many.
A wonderful story of resilience that I found hard to put down. Mary Beth's shares her story that is all too familiar to women in this world. It is beautifully written and I laughed and cried my way through life story.
This book was read the way a Takashi Miike film plays out, wonderful. To anyone who liked this I would recommend The Butterfly Collector.
Not what I was expecting. I found it dry and hard to follow. Just nothing there to keep the reader's attention. The author really should have hired an editor before publishing. Way too many punctuation, spelling, grammar, and word usage mistakes.
This is an excellent book for all women but especially so for single women. It captures a heart of a woman, mother and grandmother. I was very inspired by her candid expressions of life and choices we make and forgiving ourselves for mistakes made and rising up to start anew and do the very best in the high calling of God. An honest look at people in our lives and lessons learned through that encounter. Thank you Ms. Oostenbrug for sharing your life with us and helping us to face our trials with unwavering hope in God who always is with us. God bless you and your family.

yourself. I knew you had to be a resilient and determined woman to have
"managed" your life experiences that I was aware of from our conversations
over the years. But, I had no idea of all your trials and your ability to
